The author of the informational text states that the goal of Egyptians was to reach a state of pure happiness forever. Likewise, the Egyptians believed that living a virtuous life on earth was important.
So it seems the value of hard work is important to them, bad people will be punished, and a new, better world is possible. When the worlds were destroyed in the great battle between gods and giants, it took a long time for a new world to begin again. They appeared to support the idea that what happened to a person in the next world reflected their actions and values in this one. In both texts, the gods played an important role.
